We are a private company, not the government

National Advisory is a private company. We are not affiliated with, and have no special relationship with, the U.S. Department of Education (DOE), Federal Student Aid, your loan servicer, or any other academic or government entity. Our website and services are not endorsed by the DOE.

You can do this yourself, for free

You can apply for federal student loan consolidation, income-driven repayment, Public Service Loan Forgiveness, and other federal programs on your own, without paid help and at no cost, at StudentAid.gov or through your loan servicer. You do not need to pay anyone to apply.

What we do and don't do

We help you prepare and submit paperwork for federal programs and keep track of deadlines and yearly recertification. We are not a loan servicer or lender, and we do not renegotiate, settle, or change the terms of any loan, payment, or debt.

No guarantees

We cannot guarantee or even determine whether you will qualify for forgiveness, a specific payment amount, or a specific timeline. Approval is decided by the DOE and your servicer, and depends on things like your continued eligibility, income, family size, and employment. A lower monthly payment can mean paying more interest over a longer time.

Fees

Our fees, when they are charged, and how they are calculated are explained in writing in your service agreement before you sign. Please read it carefully and ask us any questions first.

Cancelling

Your cancellation rights, including any period required by your state, are explained in your service agreement. To cancel, call us at (877) 625-2517 or email info@nationaladvisory.org.

Your information

We only ask for the information needed to prepare your documents. We never ask for your Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID password. We do not sell your personal information.

Our services are not available in all states.
